Flip 4 unstable following latest OS update

Hi, I'm looking for some help with my Flip4 following the update to one UI version 7.0 and Android version 15.

Since the update last week, my phone shuts down whenever the phone is folded shut, and then needs to be plugged into the charger to power up.

I've gone through the standard steps to resolve an issue, starting with clearing the cache, and culminating in a full factory reset, but the issue still exists.

Has anyone else come across a similar issue, and managed to resolve it?

Exact same thing happened to me this week. Same phone same issues. So frustrating. It still has the problem in safe mode so I assume it's the Android update. Samsung store said best to send it back to them. I'm still in the process of backing up my data. Such a shame to hear the factory reset doesn't help.

The only solution I've found to keep it working is not to fold it closed. If I do, it causes a full shutdown. Then it's very difficult to start back up even with the charger plugged in for charging .....very tedious

My issue is that when the phone is closed no notification sound is played, the phone may vibrate but no sound, if the phone is open, but still locked, the sound will play.

The missus has an S23+ and since the update her notifications are random, some times they sound off and sometimes they dont.

I have checked every setting and reset every notification on every app and still, I fold the phone and the audio notifications stop.

I have searched everywhere and have found nothing, no solution and its bugging me
