How can I unlock eSIM on my Flip z 3 5G phone?

As far as I understand, the following is true:

  1. Flip z 3 5G phone has built-in support for eSIM in addition to 1 (or 2 in some regions) physical SIM cards
  2. in some regions the eSIM support has been locked by the means of firmware customization. Including in Taiwan.
  3. The #2 supposedly has to do with pleasing carriers who do not prefer their customers to have a second SIM card from a competitor, or something like that

Given that my phone is not locked for any specific carrier/operator, and since the eSIM limitation is an addec configuration, can Samsung help me to restore it?

I doubt you can do this yourself as it would require the firmware to support it. Whether this will happen in the future, I don't know.

We don't have this issue in Europe so I'm guessing you are from the US so I would recommend posting in the US forum and also check out xda developers.
