The left thin plastic bezel came off my flip 5 the phone seems ok should I worry or not

I'd take it to a samsung store. That bezel is there to protect your display. Since folding screens are so delicate, replacing a bezel is a lot cheaper than replacing a display.

It might be perfectly find without it. But if samsung put it there to protect the screen, there has to be a reason for it

I would strongly advise to book a repair or seek an advise in samsung store, as it bezel came off it might derbis and other stuff coming in so I would definitely advise to get in touch with Samsung's repairs or visit Samsung store so no further damage can be made.
