Oh wow, where do I even start? So, after the amazing recent OneUI 6.1.1 "patch" (not update, mind you) that I got on my Fold 4, my internal screen decided it had had enough of me and went completely black. I mean, why would I want to use a screen on a phone that’s worth an arm and a leg, right? That’s just greedy. Sure, the screen is active—there’s a black void to prove it—but apparently, I’m just not worthy of seeing what's on it.
But wait, it gets better! When I switch to the small outer screen (you know, the one that’s meant to be a backup in case you wanted to pretend you own a normal phone), I’m greeted by a lovely message saying "OneUI has crashed." Oh, joy! Nothing like paying a premium price for a phone that’s decided to take a permanent nap after a patch.
So naturally, I trot off to the Samsung service center, hoping for some magic. The response? "Oh, you weren’t even supposed to get that update here. What you got were just some patches, not an actual update." Well, isn’t that comforting? Not only did I apparently get an update that wasn’t supposed to exist, but now even they can’t upgrade or downgrade the phone. It’s just stuck in some glitchy limbo, like a cosmic joke on me for thinking I could rely on this top-tier device.
Thanks, Samsung, for the wonderful experience. Really living up to the premium in premium phones. Can’t wait to see what else breaks! Maybe next time my phone will just start levitating instead of working. ✌️

Hello @annkur27 and Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum Section for Uk and Eu Members.
I'm sorry to learn of the issues your currently experiencing with your phone after an update.
How have the Service Centre left this as ?
Do they still have the phone or have they given you the phone back ?

Hey BandOfBrothers, thank you for the warm welcome and for your concern! 😊 I’m happy to report that after some epic plot twists, I’ve finally brought my phone back from its little vacation at the service center. They kept me on the edge of my seat with excuses like the screen’s damaged, needs replacing —I was starting to wonder if my phone was auditioning for a new reality show! But yes, it’s back with me now, looking a little tired but working with outside screen like before 🤞

Ah, the modern phone saga! It seems like phones these days are developing a mind of their own. First, it's green vertical lines—like OnePlus is trying to start a neon trend—and Samsung? Well, it’s like they’re in a competition for 'Weird Phone Behavior After Updates.' You know it's bad when your phone starts acting more unpredictable than your Monday mornings! 😅
Some companies are owning up, hitting the 'Oops, let’s roll that update back' button, while others (cough Samsung cough) seem to be saying, ‘Yeah, you can fix it... for a price!’ Brand trust? Slowly packing its bags and waving goodbye

Nope, still having issues. Outer screen’s working like a charm, but the inner screen? Yeah, it's still taking a nap. Completely black.

I wanted to share a few updates that may help others understand what hasn't worked so far.
After visiting the first service center, I was informed that the issue required a screen replacement. Yesterday, I visited a second service center, where I was advised that the problem could be related to magnet calibration. They also suggested a factory reset, so I brought the device back for further consideration. Personally, I believe this is a software issue, as the display stopped working immediately after the update. There has been no physical damage, as the device has never been dropped.
For reference, here are the additional steps I’ve tried:
1. Attempted magnet calibration around the back camera edges.
2. Cleared the partition cache.
3. Installed the latest security patch.
Unfortunately, none of these solutions resolved the issue.
