Frustrated over the delays for the One UI7

I'm so annoyed they're dragging their feet on this update. It feels like forever waiting for One UI 7 on my Z Flip 6. Everyone who owns a google device is getting it, why not us? This is getting ridiculous, and I'm starting to regret buying this phone. These flips and folds are premium devices yet Samsung just doesn't care about their customers, I'm seriously considering going back to my iphone 16 pro full time. Delays after Delays that's all it's been lately with Samsung....

The update will be released when it is done. Though I do understand the frustration of waiting.

Google receives it first as they develop the Android software; other manufacturers then need to add their own features/UI.

There have been no delays. Samsung has made no official statements; clickbait websites have. They are not going to release a product before it is done—the last thing we want is buggy software.

This topic has been posted here many times already, a daily occurrence.

Yes I'm aware of the google phones getting it first as they're made and developed by google!! However all these £1000 plus premium phones made by samsung and we have to wait for an os update that's already been out for months. Also in my recollection samsung did delay the os update since last year, you can't tell me all these "clickbait" website are wrong?? I'm aware of a lot of bs websites but cmon you can't tell me there's no delays. As far as I can tell you're not an employee of Samsung so you can't say 100% there's no delay! Also if you want to talk buggy software, Samsung again has sent out OTA February security patchs that are bricking people's Z Flip 6's... I've neglected not to install it on my Flip 6 as a precaution. Check for yourself on here pal. No hate or bad will though, just getting my frustrations out, but samsung definitely releases buggy software without checking it so that can't be the full story as to why it's not come out yet!!!

Just because it's already available on other phones like the S25 Ultra doesn't mean it's compatible with older phones. Much of the new technology is heavily based on AI.

No, I do not work for Samsung, but I understand that the minority can be the loudest when it comes to issues—if things worked 100% of the time, nobody would say anything. I've personally never had a single issue with updates, but I'm not ignorant to the fact that problems do occur. However, if they know it cannot run correctly (UI 7) on older phones, they will not release it yet. I do feel, however, that more communication from Samsung would significantly help the community- but I'm sure there's reasons for it

No worries! I understand it can be frustrating waiting so long for an update, especially with such an expensive device. The issue is—it is a waiting game for us all.

The Z Flip 6 certainly isn't an older phone and it shouldn't be even remotely seen that way! I'm not saying your implying that but the Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 came out first with the AI stuff, and essentially it's the same os for all samsungs but they tweak it for all the phone lines that's out. If Apple can tweak their IOS software for all their line ups and release it all at the same time, I don't understand why Samsung, the number 2 in phones can't?? Yes I agree Samsung needs to explain what the hold up is as from what I'm hearing even the S25 is suffering from bugs and other issues. It's frustrating that they can't keep their customers in the loop! After all if it wasn't for us they'd not be where they are.

I totally understand and appreciate your frustration at the current situation. 

We are seeing growing numbers of posts on this forum around this. 

I'd love to have One Ui⁷ on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra ,but only when its fully stable and ready. 

Let's hope we all receive it ASAP.

Samsung are silent because they continent to work on One UI7 and won't wait until a scheduled date to release the updates.

As soon as it is ready in a stable format, it will be released.

People complaining need to understand that there is no benefit here to Samsung in delaying software. They are as keen to get the updates out as we are to receive them. People get over excited about these things.

Fully aware. I was more making a general statement about older phones.

Regardless, I'm sure there's a reason it hasn't been released. Most likely, it's simply not stable or where Samsung wants it to be. I'm assuming they really don't want to release an update full of bugs—which, as mentioned by another user in this thread, they recently did, causing significant problems for many.
