Frustrated over the delays for the One UI7

I'm so annoyed they're dragging their feet on this update. It feels like forever waiting for One UI 7 on my Z Flip 6. Everyone who owns a google device is getting it, why not us? This is getting ridiculous, and I'm starting to regret buying this phone. These flips and folds are premium devices yet Samsung just doesn't care about their customers, I'm seriously considering going back to my iphone 16 pro full time. Delays after Delays that's all it's been lately with Samsung....

Samsungs problem is the users gimmicks to sell phones. So the os is different for each device because Samsung makes features exclusive to one device. They are morons! They can either speed up the update process or they will fall to the waste side! This is a lightning fast industry things get out dated in 6 months. As it stands if it takes until July for me to get this update my Samsung flagship will be two OS behind every other flagship on planet Earth! That is not Flagship! Samsung is only interested in profits! They turned their backs on existing flagship customers!

This was a two-second Google search. In the Q1 2025 global smartphone market, Samsung held the second position.

So, they must be doing something right. You seem very irritated by this whole Samsung situation, which, as a consumer, I'm just here to give my own opinion on things. Genuinely, I think maybe Samsung just isn't for you. I hope you find a brand you like. I have zero brand loyalty, so I get it—if needs aren't being met, then why bother.

No. The base model is different than the + model and the Ultra is different than both of them. The A series is different than the S series. The F series is different than the A and S series. And on and on and on.

The Galaxy F06 has one ui 7. It's a far inferior phone to the S series so how can it run One UI 7 but the S24 couldn't? Because it was released just after the S25 in February. The F series won't have features that the A series has and the A series won't have the same features as the S series. That's also true with the year models. The S25 will have features the S24 does not. The S24 will have features the S23 won't. And on and on and on.

Google and Apple do it different. If the device has the hardware to use the feature it gets it. Samsung uses features as sales gimmicks. Bit now that AI is here that will probably change. AI is the new gimmick.

Personally disagree ai being a gimmick. I absolutely love it and use it extensively- mainly Gemini for support in stuff such as coding- in terms of finding where an error is.
