Fold 5 | Can't find an option to add an eSim in the SIM manager settings

Going travelling in February and was planning on getting an eSim. Though following tutorials I can find the same options for an eSim but I am told that the fold 5 has eSim capability. Anyone ran into the same issue?

The issue might be that your network doesn't support eSim options although the esim option should show if your model supports eSim. 

Can you pop in a physical sim card to see if the extra options appear.  { Please disregard  this }

Can you tell us what the full phone model is in the  About Phone section to see if the model type provides eSim ?

Is your phone model F9460 by any chance? If so, it does not support Esim, unfortunately.

Ah yes it is that model. Thanks for your help
