My personal phone is a Galaxy Z Fold 3, and I have an S21 work phone on a pay as you go contract. Both phones are on the UK EE network, and I want to be able to forward my work phone calls to my personal phone, rather than carry both around. I have set up call forwarding on the PAYG phone, but when I try and call it, it just says the number is not in use. I phoned EE last week and they weren't terribly helpful, saying that they think it is a Samsung issue. Has anyone been able to solve this?

Could be that your work phone has its software controlled through the company you work for. Puts certain restrictions on what you can do with and for it.
The company I work for does this.
May need to contact your companies IT team to see if they can help

I don't think so - the IT guy had no clue when I asked him and suggested googling 🤣

Hi. It seems EE do not allow call forwarding on PAYG https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Calls/Cost-of-call-forwarding-from-PAYG/td-p/950620

Well that's annoying! Especially as EE told me it wasn't them. Suppose I'll just have to carry on looking like a drug dealer 🥺

People don't know their stuff these days, the just fob you off to get rid if you rather than checking it out.

What about the option of using the dual sim feature or eSim and have both sims in one phone @RuthBC

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I didn't even know that was a thing! How would I go about it?

So when a phone is dual sim the phones sim card tray takes two sim cards.

Then when two sims are inserted you can then set preferences in the phone using the sim card manager .

More here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-or-manage-dual-sim-cards.

In regards to using an esim then the network your using will have a process that needed to be followed.

So then an esim can then be used along with a physical sim.

Not all networks offer an esim option on Payg so you'd need to check.
