Do not disturb - display notifications

I have an S9 and am happy with it apart from 1 thing. Even when Do Not Disturb is activated, when I receive a notification the screen lights up. This is VERY annoying at night as it lights up the bedroom.

I have tried loads of things to no avail.

Does anyone know how to turn it off during do not disturb times?

settings

Notifications

Do not disturb

Hide Notifications

Set Don't turn on screen to on

You might want to set Don't pop up notifications to on at the same time.
