Quick panel since update doesn't display under any circumstances

So I've updated my S21 and quick panel doest display. I've read all the forum recommendations that I need to swipe from right corner for quick panel and left (or centre) for notifications. Nope! No matter whete I swipe from, I cannot get quick panel to display. I've read that I can change it back to how it was, but I have to get into quick panel to edit the settings and NOTHING will get me into quick panel. Hubby updated same phone. Same issues for him.

First time someone has had this issue, it might just be the way you're trying to swipe.

Are you sure you not using your custom theme in Quick Star? Or any third-party themes?

Find one ui home in settings apps wipe cache and data

@Judysim: Have you tried swiping from the top left of the screen to the bottom to open the Notification panel, then swiping left to access the Quick Panel from here? If you're successful, tap the pencil symbol in the top right of the Quick Panel > Panel settings (top left) > Together, as this will revert to the One UI 6 interface for accessing the Notification and Quick panels.
