Smart view case

Hi all,

Has anyone info about the smart view case for the new galaxy s25 family? 

Looking like Samsung didn't release for the new series 🤬

In addition, I think it wouldn't turn off. The display.

That won't make sense. They make model specific s-view cases for each model, so they would just adapt to the new dimensions. And the s25u have the sw and hw to support the s-view case. But I think they rather have the the ultra-customizable Flipsuit Case instead, as that adds a custom animated background. And lock screen.

I also skipped to upgrade because stopped offer smart view cover.

I preferred the Note10 or Note20 cover. was perfect.

the S23u/S24u with hole didn't like very much but better than nothing to view the clock and notification.

Seem like they want that we forget the note series because the ultra has to became a standard S serie with just a bigger screen

I also liked the Note20 Ultra LED wallet cover case.  I should have skipped going to the S25U.  But now I'm stuck without a smart OEM case.

If no s-view case is the reason to skip the s25 ultra, then be prepared to skip all the s2* ultras. Samsung is likely to have discontinued this case. 

I just adapt and find a similar flip cover case with better protection, just lacking the smart window.

Samsung has the right to do whatever they want. I will however not adapt; I will purchase products that I like. Right now, it's not S25u. I'm not in any hurry, I will just wait for a product that I want. What's sad though, I was used to upgrade my Samsung every year, some kind of spring thing. This has now ended. I still think it was a stupid move of Samsung to end smartview cover.

I'm curious about the percentage of buyers that regularly use a smart case.  Maybe 1% or lower?  Perhaps that's why they're ditching it.  Too much of a headache for them to keep up year over year.  Demoted to 3rd party.

Maybe so, I have no problem with that. I'm sure that some company will produce what I want in a near future. Samsung has the right to do their own business decisions. I have the right to be a consumer, and that is not purchasing S25 series this year.

1% is probably still a little if mobiles. Even if they just sold the Smart View online, I would be happy...

I upgrade every 7 pluss years lol 😂 and now that samsung have promised 7 years of security and software updates there is no longer reason to upgrade every year. And you might skip s26 ultra also, as it rumored to get the exynos CPU... I will be very happy with my upcoming s25 ultra for a long time with snapdragon elite for Samsung 👍
