I used the 3x zoom on both with auto settings. Also left the watermarks on for both and 5x for the last 2

Hm very interesting. Both very nice- xiaomi is definitely brighter...but TOO much colour and s25 looks more natural, in my opinion. Both incredible, but I prefer the s25U and then edit to my own liking (brightness in this example)

Yeah, the Xiaomi is known for its contrasty Leica imaging.

Differently see the difference between the two models, the S25ultra are too light.

Just shows how rubbish Samsung are with their cameras, still can't manage to get it right.

I think it's mainly the 1-inch sensor that makes a massive difference. Like, you can take a normal image, and the Xiaomi will have real, natural bokeh on any image because of that huge sensor. It does saturate the colors a lot.

I have to say that i prefer the more natural look, but everyone to their own choices and opinions.

I guess one reason I buy the ultra phones with their raw capture ability, pro modes, focal length, new log video option ... is to learn a bit more about setting the camera up myself.

Don't get me wrong... there is a definately a use case for a simple point and shoot occasion to capture something spontaneous etc... but actually I do like to set my exposure and focus settings and really drill down into the 'artistic side' of the photography.

If all i wanted was to point and shoot, then i wouldn't buy an elaborate setup with many camera lenses... i would rather just the s25 base or plus.

Nice pictures and comparisons 👏. Really the beauty is in the 'eye of the beholder' , and if you like the more colourful contrast than the more natural, then that is all that matters 👍😉

The thing with the Xiaomi is that the camera is so packed with features—things I didn't have in my Samsung. So many different modes! I'm still learning, as it's so overwhelming.

Also, in terms of the natural look you were speaking of, you can actually turn on the natural mode in Leica authentic mode and then use another natural filter to make it look more natural.

I prefer the 1-inch sensor of the Xiaomi. It looks almost DSLR-like in comparison to the Ultra.

I showed some people the shots I took from my Xiaomi, and they wouldn't believe that I took them.
