Swipe down Anywhere for Quick Settings

I have my Notifications and Quick Settings panels split, and whilst there is an option within the settings to allow swiping down from anywhere on the Home screen to open the Notifications panel, why isn't there an option (when you have the panels split) to swipe down from anywhere on the right of the Home screen to open the Quick Settings panel?  Why is this feature only limited to the Notifications when using split panels and why do we have to specifically reach for the top right corner to swipe for Quick Settings?

Is there an option to enable this?

Just to clarify, I do not want the Notifications and Quick Settings combined, I like having them separate, I just want the option to have the swipe left/right functionality anywhere on the Home screen.

I have jumped across from Xiaomi and they have it like this on their UI and it is very, very useful, especially with bigger screen sizes.

Swipe down from the right and click on the little pencil beside the power symbol and click setting then at top left and switch to "together" instead of separate.

I don't believe you can. I know one one ui 6, the swipe anywhere thing was part of good lock. Now it's default behaviour, there doesn't seem to be any good lock settings for separate swipe areas

Yeah I couldn't see any option for it, nor anything online related to it, only posts complaining they don't like the panels split, so I'm hoping by making a post, I can get the devs to add it in.

Use one hand operation + app and add open notification swipe action
