If you want to trade in you Galaxy s23 series phone, unless you are trading in your 256GB version you will not be very happy
Samsung has made a cockup on the website and they have refused to sort it out
If you trade in your 256GB you will get £476, happy days !
If you trade it your 512GB, you will get £413 ????, and if you trade i your 1TByou will ger £440 ????
Oh well, I will leave it till next year, it's not much money to worry about, just a shame

It's advisable if you perform forum search first as question was answered before.
It's based on market value, people tend to get basic model and it's most popular and cheaper compared to more storage ones so less people buy extra storage option ones to save money and get the latest and greatest, and it's based upon this i know not fair, but prices are based on market values, and if one model who had less storage had " success" in sales instead of 1tb one or 512gb one then price will be greater towards more successfully sold device.

ok that's strange because I checked the trade in values on all the older phones and this has only happened for the trade in for the s23 ultra

The main reason for this is that the release of the S23 ultra two years ago, had the promotion of double storage.
It sounds strange but because most people in their right mind would have bought the 512GB model over the 256GB model during the early release as they were the exact same cost, then there is a much bigger market influx of 512 models than 256 models.
It is counter intuitive i know, but has some logic I guess.
I was also a bit upset at first instance when I looked at the trade in prices... but ultimately I decided to suffer the small loss and traded in anyway.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I will be a little sad to let it go...truth be told if money wasn't an object I would have kept it for a spare.
I will use it during its last couple of weeks with good memories. I just hope I don't end up regretting my decision. But time has to move onwards and progress... and I am sure my s25u in JetBlack with 1TB will be more than excellent for the tasks ahead.
Thanks
