I'm new to samsung so this may be normal, my phone feels warm around the frame and the back of the phone, not having any issues with performance at all in any way shape or form so im not to concerned but it is hotter than what I recall my iPhone being especially on a normal basis, is this just the powerful chip inside and the vapour chamber effectively doing its job and therefore making the phone feel warmer or is it not normal?

The chip in the s25 is known to be able to get rather hot. It being warm will just mean your phone is probably doing something. If you aren't doing anything it shouldn't make heat. Though if you actively use the phone, it's normal to feel a bit warmer

Yes they can get quite warm under load - it's exactly as you say; the chip gets warm and the vapour chamber is doing what it's supposed to do and disperses the heat across the back of the phone.

If you very recently purchased the phone it will settle down under normal use.

I've discovered a bug of some kind with YouTube on my own S25 Ultra where it will heat the phone up, due to heavy CPU and resource load quite inextricably. I have yet to determine why the YouTube app does this, but it is a common occurrence on my device. Beyond that, most day to day tasks and apps rarely warm my device.

@MaxPonder: You should expect your device to heat up during periods of heavy use, or when using power intensive apps, however it should not be too hot to handle. If your device is overheating it will display a notification indicating that it is getting hot, and it will shut itself down as a safety measure if the overheating continues. If there is no warning notification, then your device is fine.
