Connecting watch

Can somebody advise me I have recently bought a s25ultra and my watch7 will not keep connected to Bluetooth and stay connected. Also I bought the watch last year and have never been able to upload an update. Has anyone got any tips. x Carol

Hello @solwayfirth 

First try a Clear the Cache of the watch.

If this does not work then you may have to reset the watch. 

In regards to updates to be honest there isn't alot of updates that the watch needs.

I forget why, but I had to reset my Samsung Watch4 within the last year.  Having backups of your watch will make things go easier.  

I know it's a pain.

My watch 7 Ultra just did a transfer to new phone, prompt popped up when tried to reconnect to new phone

I could not transfer. Tried a reset with restore but that only did half the job. One UI 7 had been a nightmare. Smart switch dogs not work. Backups partially. Cannot access Samsung wallet. Had to factory reset phone as instructed by support and that made no difference. Still not getting any push notifications since doing factory reset. Jabbed put sign on door telling people to knock fire to the phone being useless. Real shame the hardware is great but the software is a joke.
