S25 ultra wont work unless connected to wifi

Got the new s25 ultra, in Cyprus and mobile data won't work, can't send texts unless connected to wifi, same sim from old phone and never had a problem. Tried all the obvious, any suggestions?

Something to try. Settings, connections, mobile networks, access point names, dots top right, reset to default, reboot.

Something else to try, mobile networks, network operators, disable auto, wait, select your carrier. Might work

Have you tried using another sim card? Like one of a friend or family member to see if their sim works?

Also in samsung members, in the support tab, you could try running a diagnostic and seeing if the mobile networks section tells you anything

Yes I tried my husbands and it wouldn't work, but it's working in his phone, which makes me think it's something in the phone settings.

May I please ask where you bought your device from (which retailer not country)?

Could the device have been blacklisted?

I bought direct from samsung

Is roaming turned on? If you are overseas or you in Cyprus and gor phoen from Samsung?

If latter take it back to the store

If you brought it in Cyprus and your based in the UK that's the reason your having problems as it probably made to work in that country. Never buy a phone abroad.
