My new S25 will not allow AMEX card to be added into Google Wallet

Called the bank and they advised it is up to Google to send the bank a token in order to accept the AMEX addition to S25. To date, bank records show as of yet no receipt of this token.  I was on the line when they reached out to Google asking again for an updated token. Waited 10mins on line -- Nothing.

Some people here think it's up to Samsung; others say banks.  Honestly, it makes sense that access token would come from Google given they provide authorization to Google APIs, no?

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

As this is a Google Wallet issue, you'll need to reach out to Google directly for support.

This seems more of a google issue than a samsung problem. I know your pain, I have a natwest card that still doesn't add after a few months of trying. Have you tried using samsung pay? Thats a second contactless system that is ran by samsung. If your card isn't supported, you might need to use samsung pay+ but thats free too

Ok, thank you, everyone. Appreciate the 'share'. BTW, I did contact Google Help and they sent me a link to a page that offers a stream of links which then leads to a vast stream of verbiage. FYI, my other bank credit cards work, but not my AMEX. Ok, will continue researching once I have regenerated my energy level!  Thanks again.
