Adaptive brightness not working

The functionality is not working.
Another one that is delivering very poorly is the eye comfort option. Does't adapt and also is not providing the confort needed. Still too much brightness. Needs fixing.
Finally the vivid option vs normal doesn't seem to integrate very well with adaptative mode (which doesn't work anyway). Is lacking more options to make it truly usable. Very disappointing to see so many basic features like these not working in a phone that costs 1k.

Not noticing any of these issues on my S25 Ultra. Are you sure you were sold a genuine Samsung?

Well anything short of a completely defective device, it simply sounds like you dislike Samsung's phones and implemtation of any of these features. Functionally, none of these options appear any worse off from all previous Samsung phones.

Adaptive brightness not working in what sense? The brightness not reducing or getting brighter when in different lighting environments, or when your watching HDR content? With regards to HDR while watching a video, in my experience from the S23 onwards the HDR brightness has been implemented in a why that doesn't up the brightness the way it did with the S10 etc and that's more so to do with battery and heat control if I'm not mistaken. Best way to check the Adaptive brightness is to shine a torch to the sensor and see if indeed there is an issue.

Yes, adapting to lighting environment. Response is poor. My A53 has much better responsiveness to light. Sounds like older versions and mid range phones are better equipped from my experience and what you are saying. Sad news. I hope they can review and do a software update soon on all of the areas related to brightness (eye comfort included).

Well can you elaborate more on how each feature you dislike "aren't working". It sounds very generic without any context or substance to what you are finding needs fixing. As I already pointed out before, I've owned and used every Samsung Ultra phone to date. None of these options have performed any differently on the S25 Ultra as far as I've seen. So a bit more elaboration would help identify what problem it is you're facing.
