Hello,
I have a Galaxy S24+ (SM-S926B/DS) with the latest update and a very annoying problem.
YouTube Music is unbearable with this device. During media playback, the music continuously "stutters" and YouTube Music constantly crashes.
It doesn't make a difference whether I play music stored locally on the phone or stream it. It also can't be due to my bandwidth, as this problem occurs even with a 1Gbit internet connection.
It doesn't matter whether the music is played through the phone's speakers or Galaxy Buds either.
Is this issue known to Samsung and is it being worked on? This is really sad for such an expensive smartphone.

Do you have any other player and does it work better? What version/build YT M?

It looks like Spotify works better. But YouTube Music has more Artists 😕
YouTube Music is Version 7.05.54

I should have waited a few minutes....now the app was updated to Version 7.06.53 but the problem still exists...
I although tried this:
- deactivated battery optimization for the app
- deleted app cache
- wiped cache partition
But none of this steps solved the problem.

It does not matter if BlueTooth is on or off or if i play music via the integrated speakers or via Samsung Buds.
I although deavtivated voice activation (both Samsung and Google), this does not change the behavior too 😞
The last thing i want to do is to uninstall the YT Music app...cause i have to redownload the whole music again.

Maybe you don't have enough space on your phone? How big is your music collection on phone? I stream my music directly from YouTube Music, not noticed any stutters

The phone has 500GB space, music collection about 60GB and the phone has about 300GB free space. This couldn't be the problem.
Edit: Ok...this is really sad! If i delete the whole Data of YT Music (included music downloads) the app works without problems.
The phone is about 2 months old and i really take care of it. Is there a way to check if the storage is faulty?

Do you have RAM plus enabled? If you have, try disable it. Close all app in background. Your issue seems to have some problem with memory.

RAM Plus was activated i have deactivated it now and redownload the music files. I will check if this fixes the problem.
But this would be stragen cause i have about 6GB RAM free without optimisations.
