The new UI on S24 Ultra has ruined gestures.

Swiping up from bottom right to go back over, as it used to be, was perfect. Now it's swipe from the side and you risk affecting what's on screen like slider buttons in settings which has already happened.

Swiping up from the left to get recently used apps was perfect. Now I have to try about 10 times at varying speed from left or right of centre up to beyond a certain point on screen which is frankly garbage. It's glitchy as hell and does not work.

This is a massive etrograde step. You've de-optimised the user experience.

I'm experiencing non-stop frustration having had every Galaxy top spec phone to date. Is this what you want?

Why on earth have you broken this. It's user experience vandalism.

Years of this optimal way of navigating through gestures ruined. I want this escalated and a formal response.

If this isn't reversed by, at a minimum, making it configurable, I'll be going to all major tech influencers with this.

I've never complained like this before. It is truly atrocious what your developers have done.

@dcro1 I exactly shared your frustration and it completely boggled my mind . Nonetheless, there is an easy work around, in order to customise your S24 back to your personal preferences.
1. Download Goodlock from the Galaxy store.
2. Install Navstar from within the Goodlock app.
3. In Navstar you'll find all the navigation gesture settings.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, I use Chrome browser too.
It really is an easy fix. It's a customization app developed by Samsung Galaxy. Literally a few clicks away

I figured it was a shift around to accommodate for the AI button, for some weird reason. I like you felt that my entire experience with the phone is ruined just because of this, until I found this work around.

Ah right. It works on that and Samsung Internet? Thought it was limited. Brilliant.

You're welcome, just get the Goodlock App from the Galaxy store app. And go from there.

The latest version (8th March) has removed the gestures and reverted it back to the horrible sideswipe method.
I had to download and install the last version (apk) to fix it. Not good.

100% agree. I liked the old swipe gestures much better. We don't buy apple for a reason and there's no need to make the systems work similarly

Why did Samsung break something that worked well?  Unbelievable
