Same picture, but in the second one, I used AI on the Galaxy S24 Ultra to remove the harness. It even added a collar that he wasn't wearing. I'm quite impressed. 📷

Tbh I was pretty disappointed in the beginning because such a powerful camera hardware wise, and it was just visible while using it that the camera was powerful, was badly optimised, but after the March update, I am truly impressed and satisfied with the camera. It just takes awesome pictures, the 100x zoom it's fixed and the camera lives up to it's expectations. There is still place for improvements, but overall, I would recommend this phone for it's camera now.

Cute dog btw, looks happy.🥰

Thank you. This picture was taken before the March update. Also, the AI was applied beforehand.

I've been holding off on buying because of the camera issues and the grainy display problems that have been reported. the 100x has been fixed? I didn't know it had any issues?

Tbh I never had major issues with my screen, just the occasional gradient defect on solid colours while browsing on social media, but otherwise it's been great for me. Overall the phone is great, I was only disappointed with the camera.
While taking pictures with 12M 100x zoom there was a tangible lack of detail, which was inconsistent with the powerful camera, but now they are much better processed and optimised and much clearer and sharper.

Good picture, even better looking dog.

AI tends to replace not erase and results can be random.

It would have been nice is the no harness or collar. The chest area looks quite good.

In this thread I was using object remover and I tried some AI on the picture, but my dog was replace by an armchair, and a phone was replaced by something

My humble S23 Ultra has decided to grant your request @Reylob. No replacing of objects here, just good old erasing.. 👍

Oh! poor you with your humble S23 Ultra, I do not know how you can live with such low end phone, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ( @Babishko, I really hope that comment is received in the intended manner)

I think the S23 Ultra does have the edge in software stability and maturity.

Did you use Object eraser? Object eraser is more appropriate to do that sort of job. Of course it depends on the object and the picture. I guess that it might not look as good if you wish to erase the dog.

The AI functionality is unpredictable because it generates something, which might not be the most logical thing. I did get one instance where the dog got deleted and replace with grass, but when it begins to generate anything could happen. One might think that replacing it with a cow is more logical than an armchair.

Indeed Reylob I did use the gallery object eraser on my (non offended!..🤣 🤣) S23 Ultra. I find that sometimes the best results can be obtained by erasing your feature in a few stages as opposed to all at once, OR you can do your erasure all in one go and then re-erase any areas of visual imperfection after.
I am concerned though, that a future software update (viz One U.I 6.1) may rob my S23 Ultra of it's 'purer' object erasing abilities?.
