Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

Samsung isn't very good with actually saying what their updates do. I do have to admit they did a good explanation for this one but should have included warnings and instructions for the battery drain if they tested it properly at least

But members (and it am not aiming this at you) expect samsung to consider every possible solution and then deliver them all.

But they don't send feedback to Samsung. They just expect Samsung to mind read

Phone is dreadful since the update. Battery drain and even spotify constantly crashing when trying to open a song. Wost update in sansung history. Sort it out!!!

I have been sending feedback since the s10 😅 my problem is Samsung never seems to listen to any of it

Neither my S21 Ultra or Tab S8 Ultra battery seems any worse with the update. Both appear the same with maybe a slightly better overall performance.

After UI7, my phone's battery drains so fast! Why can't I scroll my apps horizontally? The new icons are ridiculous and some can hardly be seen with my existing background and look just like an iPhone! How do I roll this UI back?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Horizontal apps:
Open app drawer—next to the search bar, click the three dots—sort—change to custom.

Go to Samsung Themes to change icons. Use GoodLock, etc.—you have Android, and on that, you can customize pretty heavily. I personally think they look nothing like iPhones and believe this is a fad people started. My girlfriend has one; I sat with both…nothing alike.

There is no way to legitimately roll back updates. You may get suggestions to flash the device, but this immediately voids the warranty and you risk bricking your device.
