Voice calls on messenger on S 24+

The voice calls on messenger is not working on my new s24+ phone , if anyone calls me, they can hear me but I can't hear anything that they say back to me.

I've reset settings, checked volumes, permissions for app and nothing.

I reinstalled the facebook messenger again but it doesn't work while the other voice calls app is working good 

Can anyone help please

This a problem for Facebook, Samsung doesn't guarantee if and how third party apps work or dont

Hello and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

If you haven't already try clearing the cache of the app by holding down the app icon and tap on i and then tap on Storage, and clear cache @Amany84 

If that does not help then uninstall the app from your phone and from your Playstore MyLibrary and that will allow you to install a fresh copy of the app.

Yes I have already tried both  but it doesn't work 😕 

I even uninstalled the fresh version and  installed an older version of app as a solution recommended from a guy here but  unfortunately it doesn't work too

You'll likely need to reach out to Meta through the Play Store, App, Developer contact to ascertain what the issue is.

(I'm assuming when you are in a call and you can't hear the other person, you try to increase the volume at that point using the buttons on the right of your device?). Sorry if that is stating the bloomin' obvious lol
