Ever since this new update I can't charge my phone via usb as it keep saying "moisture detected" I haven't been near water with my phone, it started with slow charging then straight to moisture detected, it worked once with wired charge but now it doesn't work at all even after a few days

If the phobe hasn't been near water as you state @vx3988 then usually this pop up disappears quite quickly. 

If you perform a forum search you'll find a few threads on this with sone excellent advice within. 

Two troubleshooting steps are > 

• " Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device. "
• Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's } 
• As a last resort back up and factory reset. 

Let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on.

Im having the same problem. It even happens when there is already a cable plugged into the usb port which makes no sense. Over the last week this has been a nightmare to deal with. Clearing app data/cache or dissabling fast charge dont work. Samsung need to address this problem.

This has just happened to me I got a new phone for Christmas it's been charging fine took it to do something haven't been near water of anything that could've got on that quick and when I put it on charge it's saying detection of moisture I literally had it off charge 3 mins was charging fine then boom any idea how to get it charging normal?

This is also happening to me my phone has been nowhere near water, I have tried clearing the catche but it does not clear very annoying.

I am having the same problem. Tried everything that is suggested here. Nothing works. I do care a lot of my samsung s24 ultra, and it's only 6 months old.
It is definitely Samsung's problem, and I am very disappointed 😞

Thank you. When trying to clear catch from usb setting storage, it's not responding. Any idea why? Also, do you think applying a scrin protector can cause this problem?

Same thing for me.   How is this not even addressed after six months!??  My new phone...  Samsung needs to get on this!!
