I would say so @Paulqu for new functions and features,  upgraded specs and software and the new phone would be supported for 7 years. 

Have a look at Samsung.com and gsmarena.com for the soecs if you haven't already,  and YouTube reviews and then if you can go to a Samsung Experience Store or Highstreet Network Store to have hands on. 

Or await the Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ series of phone's.

If opting for the S24 I think you will notice a difference in the build quality, screen resolution, speed and efficiency.   The only thing is that the Battery life is not as strong  for the base model. 100% I used to own an S20 Ultra before moving to Folds, I gave it to the in laws so still do updates to it, but using the S24 Plus or Ultra, just showed that, yes the S20 was a great phone but the S24 I next level.

At the Samsung S24 Unpacked Event it was funny yet interesting as two members had an S23 Ultra the other the S22, the former saw little improvement, whereas the S22 guy was blown away.

There will be a vast difference between the S20FE and S24 / S24+ (I would recommend the + version if your budget allows). 👌
