Galaxy S24 Ultra and One UI 7 ?

Hello everybody,

Just bought a new S24 Ultra phone one month ago and understood that it should upgrade to One UI 7. But it still didn't. My S9+ Fr tablet moved last week-end, but still not my phone (SM-S928B/DS).

Is there somethning special that I'm supposed to do to trigger the upgrade ? I tried to look for updates in the parameters, and restarted the device, without any change. I didn't do anything on the tablet...

Bought it from where. Post screenshot from settings /about phone /software information /service provider software version

If nothing comes up in settings and software update
You can try to use smartswitch on a computer to look for available updates

Also depends if the device you have is ment for the region you are in. If its imported, it may not get any updates

I tried to install smartswitch on my computer (from the Microsoft store). And connected my phone via USB, but didn't see any option for software update. Not sure that I'm doing this correctly...

In the menu, there is a "Smart Switch information / Check for updates" but it says just that I have the latest Smart Switch update".

You have a US device and firmware and that causes lack of updates. Can you return it?

I can't, as I bought it one month ago. Do you mean that the US devices are not eligible for receiving One UI 7 ?

I think its because Samsung halt the update due to a bug with the s24

They are eligible in US. If smartswitch doesn't work then only manual approach using Odin and out of scope for these forums
