Unhappy with S24 Ultra photos

Hi.

Photos taken on my S24 rear camera seem to be quite grainy / not as sharp as I thought.

I've only really looked at the x1 and x3 lenses. I think the photos look even worse when I zoom in on the photo that I have taken. 

I haven't changed any settings. 

Has anyone else had this issue?

Am I expecting too much?

There is a major software release underway, it has been released in Korea and expectations here are for a rollout starting on 22nd (but that may change) to include major camera upgrades, vivid fix, February Security Patch and others.

The posted photo seems to be taken in low light and challenging lighting conditions.
I am not sure what you were expecting 🤔
I am actually surprised it's not blurred ( either the kid didn't move or you have steady hands)

Maybe try forced flash next time.

Also . If you swipe the photo up in the gallery or press the i icon, you should get the option to remaster the photo so try that.

Also there is an app called enhance X you can download from the Samsung store.

There will be a software update around the 22nd of February, hopefully that fixes your issues

I think my pictures are fine sharpness wise, but u feel they can be a bit blurry if not enough light (sharper and more luminous than Note20U though), my main issue is that the phone gets them warped both selfie and rear camera and I have to unwarp them from the photo editor. I am always using remaster if I am not happy with the luminosity and sharpness.

My pictures from my Samsung S24 Ultra that I share to WhatsApp status is also blurry especially when I zoom in. Showing people my pictures from my new S24 Ultra is nothing to be proud of. Was expecting much better quality compared to my old S20 Ultra. Not happy

I have the same issue... jumped from my s22 ultra to the s24 ultra and I am already sad that I let my s22 ultra to go! The photos they take are totally different and I am not very impressed. The quality of the 22 ultra are way better and they look way nicer...

The quality of the S24 Ultra is trash. I have wanted to get the Ultra Series for so long; all my previous phones were mid-range or budget-friendly ones. So getting a huge S24U was a huge deal for me, but I am left disappointed as my old phone from 2018 takes better photos than this one. I did a side-by-side comparison in different lighting scenarios and viewed them on my laptop. The photos from my old phone were sharper and had really good quality. I am now thinking of selling the S24U and getting another phone.
