Will we ever get the opportunity to take macro photos on our Samsung phones? 

If you have any tips on using the camera, specifically on an S24 ultra, please share?

Hi and Welcome.

You can take Macro photos on the Samsung via its wide angle camera.

As long as you have SCENE OPTIMISIZER ON in settings the minute you get close to a subject it should turn ON the macro function.

With ONE UI 7 it seems to kinda work with the 5x zoom a bit as well.

You should see a 'Yellow flower 🌻 icon POP up on the left bottom when in camera mode so you know it's in Macro Mode.

If the Flower is White . Press it so it turns Yellow.
