Hey Everyone,

I was trying to access a few of my files in my Samsung T9 SSD through my S24 Ultra using the cable, it shows me that there's a drive but wouldn't show any files it but when connected to a PC it works flawlessly with access to all the files in it.

Can someone tell me if I'm missing a step or is it not accessible anymore ?

Thank you.

They added an auto blocker feature with the November patch. Have u got that enabled ? It could be that as it states, once it's enabled, u won't be able to connect any USB devices or anything to your phone.1730998186099.jpg

I have a T7 and it is working fine with my S24 Ultra. I just tested it. What do you get on the drop down notifications? Do you get the USB storage has been added?

Did it get unplug without being unmounted?

Try rebooting the phone and clearing the cache partition.

Is your T9 very full? If it is, it might take a bit of time before it finishes indexing the files.

Yes, it does show me that the USB storage has been added.
And no the T9 is half empty.

What puzzles me is that it never shows me the Enter Password as it shows to me on the computer. But if I skip it, it just shows me setup files. Which is the same that I'm seeing on the phone, just the setup files and no prompts to enter the password.

Should I access it through Files Manager or is there a different method ?

Ah!, it has encrypted content?

Do you need an app to decrypt the data?

You should use my files to browse the disk, but if it is encrypted you might an app to prompt you for a password.

OK @Reylob , I'll give it a try later tonight or tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Yes, on the computer there's a Samsung Application that does the encryption I think.
I'll update you on this. Thank you so much for the suggestions and quick responses. Much appreciated.
