Loving the s24 utlra, had the charging issue which was fixed with the first software update. But theres a minor touch issues which can be collectively very annoying. The issue is when I tap the display while typing or just normally interact, the phone doesn't seem to respond unless I redo it once or more. Seems like a software issue since retrying the taps works but once in a while the phone just doesn't register the touch. Was wondering if any of you had the same issue, so that we all report this to Samsung and get it sorted.

My Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra does seem fine when tapping icons and typing etc @uchihamutasim

Sometimes when I swipe down to get to the Notification Shade this can be hit and miss.

I would suggest that you clear the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section to see if that helps.

If this does not then do send feedback via your Samsung Members App.

> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

To add I fitted a Spigen EZ Glass Screen Protector so also turned on the Touch Sensitivity in the display settings to help.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Mine seems OK. Not noticed anything with my display.
Along with @BandOfBrothers advice.
If you are using a magsafe type case. Try removing this and see if that helps.
It's been noted by some that have problems because of these cases

The magsafe type case has caused issues with the s pen only for other users, the touch shouldn't have any problems because of that

It causes issues with the S Pen.
But I have seen others saying that they are getting touch response issues as well. Why I mentioned it.
Depends on the case being used. Actually having something attached using the magsafe is definitely a problem that's made worse

Yes, i don't have anything attached to the case so it's just a piece of metal on the back

@uchihamutasim: If you're experiencing some touch screen response issues, then you may wish to head to Settings > Display > Touch sensitivity, and toggle this option on to see if this helps. This is typically intended for when you have a screen protector installed, but could go some way to addressing the issue. You could also head to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Tap duration > Toggle this on, and make sure it is set to '0.1 seconds'.
