I have the same issue too. I have the issue where the screen isn't responsive sometimes in Google maps as well as some other apps. My solution at the moment is to close the app reopen it and it seems to respond to screen touches after reopening

Thank you @uchihamutasim for posting this issue here. I too feel the same issue with my device. I noticed when the device temprature is high, device touch responsive rate gets lower. Even if I have opted for touch sensitivity in the display setting.
I think SAMSUNG should release an update to fix this issue.

This: "Sometimes when I swipe down to get to the Notification Shade this can be hit and miss"
I have the same problem. Do you think It's a bug? Did you find a solution? Thanks

I have the exact same problem. Didnt expect this in a flagship phone. Very disappointed with Samsung. Now that I know I'm not the only one and Samsung is doing nothing to fix this, i think I'm going to return it.

Same issue here on S23 Ultra. Sometimes it stops responding to taps. When I restart an app (e.g. Google Maps), the touch magically works again.

My S22 ultra just started having touch no-response issues after the 202412 updates to Android 14 (and maybe OneUI 6.1.
I installed no new apps since the update. My employer has a Pixel and he sees issue with no-response too.
I notice it happens when I'm charging and have don't lock when charging turned on. The screen dims and if I notice an email came in I pick up the phone and tap the email app icon, but nothing happens (except the phone un-dims).
The clock with seconds keeps going (screen is updated as needed).
The phone (make a call) icon works, but swiping up on the navigation bar to get recent apps/home/back does nothing.
I can also pull down/expand the notification area and closing that may restore the touch response. If I press the power off "side" button once, it goes into lock mode, and I can press it again and be taken to the keypad to enter my PIN and that restores touch.
My employer's Pixel has this happen when not charging, and he says tapping several times usually reactivates touching.
