I am a new s24 base model snapdragon user, I've had this phone for 2 weeks now and have been experiencing some pretty bad ghost touch and screen lagging. Sometimes the phone will just click on random stuff like when I'm scrolling or typing and other times won't register my touch. I've checked the touchscreen in settings and all seems to be working, I dont have any malicious apps or really anything else that i think could be causing this. The first 4 - 5 days I had no issues. Since then the only difference has been that I now have a cover, but I've tested even without the cover the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this or know any solutions? Thanks.

Is the screen protector on or off? Try diagnostics via Samsung members app

@PakistaniNuke: Based on the nature of your query I recommend restarting your phone in Safe mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source.

To enter Safe mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

With Safe mode active, monitor the performance of the device for a few hours, based on the frequency that you encounter the issue. If you find that the touch screen issues aren't present, then please restart your Galaxy S24 as you would normally and uninstall any apps that you have added to the device since you first encountered the issue. It won't be possible to determine exactly which app is at fault, therefore I recommend approaching this via a process of elimination.

Diagnostics works fine and I don't have a screen protector right now. I'm looking through some older posts to see if i can figure something out.

Thank u, I've tried this and uninstalled a few apps and also looked at some solutions in older posts. I've changed some settings now aswell. So far no problems, but it may be too soon to tell.
