The quality of screen has been tested and it is proven to be very good hardware. The quality of the visuals are full of problems, that much is clear. It is almost a certainty that a few of those issues will go with future software/firmware upgrades in the near future.
The natural/vivid mode does not seem to be implemented. I see no reason why this cannot be implemented via an update. Of course, Samsung could decide not to implemented it. If this is the case, then it is an indication that it will be the design for the S24 series and future generations.
For those who feel very strongly about it, returning the device and getting a full refund is a reasonable course of action. They can wait for the waters to calm down and see how this saga evolves. If they are happy with the future "solution(s)", waiting for future offers could provide an opportunity to get the device. There is also the option to go with a different brand and/or OS. I would not keep a phone that I am not happy with, despite all the offers that came with the phone.
I personally do not have a problem with a more natural colour representation. I do prefer it. Accepting the changes and enjoying the phone will not be a problem for users in similar position.
If you (pre) ordered a S24 series phone, then judge what the best solution for you is.

It's so simple. They REMOVED the option of having vivid and natural. Well actually the option is still there but there is no difference between them now. Before there were big differences.
So Samsung is forcing us to have the natural over vivid

I do not think that they "remove" the option. I think it is a software bug. If they intended to, they would have removed it from the options. The real intentions will be clear soon enough.
I agree with you, the option should be given. I am in favour of more options, no fewer.
Is it a deal breaker for you?

Some people prefer natural, others prefer vivid. Especially since the s10 plus the colours have been always vivid for many years and now they suddenly have toned the colours down. They need to realise we will notice immediately.
They need to give us the option . It's that simple. Natural for natural people and vivid for people who prefer vivid colours. It's that simple. Theyve always given us the option but now it seems like they just want us to have natural
