Just spoke to technical team.
And they have confrimed Samsung has intentionally made the display look washed out and less vibrant.
So for everyone waiting for a software update / patch to fix this... There won't be one

Going from information on previous threads @X9ASM it does appear that the agents fielding calls are saying slightly different things and information on Tech sites are saying Samsung will send out a patch update.

My advice is to await for what happens in the way of the next software update.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I appreciate that.
But my 14 day return window is coming up soon. That's my main concern.
Imagine if it goes past this period.. And the software update doesn't fix this issue as that's how Samsung have intended for it to be. Then myself and thousands of others are screwed

There seems to be an update coming in Feb for most phones ranging from the s21 series upwards including the s24 series.

But whether they will make the Vivid back to normal is a waiting game.

I personally like it although I have preferred vivid on my older phones.

They seem like nice people"

If you're that worried about it then yes return your phone. Nothing worse than being stuck with an expensive phone that you don't enjoy. If you can't get used to the more natural tones then go back to an older model.

My friend an IPhone max pro user saw my phone today and commented how great the screen is.

TBH as a photographer the colours are quite decent.

My biggest concerns were on the photo and video quality of the camera

This better not be true. The colours are washed out and its seems almost like your looking at black and white compared to the s23 ultra which is so much more vibrant
