I'm sure this is going to be met with some resistance. But basically, I love the S24 ultra and I originally got it for work to annotate and work through BEOs. However, for the amount of work and notes needed and the floorplans etc, the screen is still small. So I got myself a tablet. Now I don't use the ultra S pen for what it's for.
I understand that some people will use it as intended.
However, I really love all the other features and functions of the S24 ultra.
So basically I'd like the S25 ultra but without the S pen, maybe with a larger battery instead or something.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

This is an interesting take, but a bigger battery instead of an S Pen is a nice idea… however, I don't imagine they will ever get rid of it. Maybe as the Fold models advance to meet your needs.

However, I can suggest going to the samsung members app, support and then feedback

I also doubt they would. And unfortunately the fold doesn't have an S pen. Something I mention in a new recent post. 😊

@TacticallyBlind  some may request this or something similar, in fact noticed an article from a few years ago https://www.techradar.com/opinion/the-galaxy-s23-ultras-s-pen-is-a-waste-of-valuable-battery-space

This is not going to happen for the current series though and a number value the S Pen on the Ultras.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Personally I would be lost without my spen in my S24 Ultra. I use the Spen everyday. Note taking, editing documents and photos, scrolling, just to mention a few.

Oh yeah I can't disagree you know a lot of people would utilise a lot of the functionality on a daily basis but for me I'm part blind so in order to edit such documents in such workloads, the screen is ironically too small for me. So I have a tablet, which coincidentally is a good second screen too. So having the ultra but without the S pen in terms of battery, the screen anti glare, material used for the body etc would be ideal for me.

But absolutely the S pen is a fantastic feature for many people.

Hello @TacticallyBlind

I'm sure that your not alone when it comes to wants and needs from a phone.

Now I don't use the sPen extensively however it's there for when I do need it.

I don't see Samsung dropping the sPen anytime soon.

They do however have the + sized phones as an option.

Oh I can't see them dropping the S pen anytime soon either and I don't think they should however I just wish the plus model had at least the anti glare screen you know because I really didn't know how good or useful it was until I used my friend's phone and I was like oh my god the anti reflective screen is really effective.

I'm pretty sure he's alone on this issue and that no Ultra fan wants to be without an S-pen, with or without Bluetooth. 😠😠😠
