I'm sure this is going to be met with some resistance. But basically, I love the S24 ultra and I originally got it for work to annotate and work through BEOs. However, for the amount of work and notes needed and the floorplans etc, the screen is still small. So I got myself a tablet. Now I don't use the ultra S pen for what it's for.
I understand that some people will use it as intended.
However, I really love all the other features and functions of the S24 ultra.
So basically I'd like the S25 ultra but without the S pen, maybe with a larger battery instead or something.

Hi @TacticallyBlind

I understand your wish, but the S Pen is one of the things, if not the thing that differentiates the Ultra from any other phone within the Samsung space or any other manufacturer. I think that it is the only flagship phone with this feature.

The S Pen is an iconic characteristic from the Note, now the Ultra. Removing it might allow an extensive fan based to consider other options.

We are seeing battery capacity and charging speed increased, but how much it increases sales? I am sure that there are users who will never have a big enough battery, e.g. gamers, but I think that battery performance for a good number of users is excellent.

I think that most uses will not need to charge the phone everyday.

I understand your view 100%! I have both a tablet and my phone. Both of which I use for my coursework. My S pen on my phone became my biggest friend with both my tablet and my phone because I use it to press record on my phone, but also I can simultaneously use it on my tablet because I can't get a replacement S pen for my tab s6. I do believe, however, that the "ultra" wouldn't be much of one without the s pen because that was a giant selling point for the phone, alongside a wider screen and other features. I'd definitely recommend looking at phones with similar things but don't have a pen. But also I'd say just stay with your s24U until you find a better phone that suits. If it's working well for you, even if you don't use the S Pen, don't swap to the 25!
