The keyboard sucks.

After upgrading from an old S10 using SwiftKey keyboard, to an S24 Ultra I stuck with the native keyboard, mostly for the ai features that was used to sell the phone.

But the keyboard simply sucks. It barely remembers words or word sequences. The auto replace only works on some text boxes, but most of the time it just leaves very clearly misspelled words. When auto replace does work it often picks strange words.

Going from SwiftKey to Samsung I very noticeably spend more time managing the corrections. 

What are other people's experience with the Samsung keyboard?

Samsung Keyboard no good for swipe.

I use GBoard which is better but far from excellent.

Same. Never remembers anything.
My s24 ultra gives me SwiftKey option but unfortunately gotta use stock samsung which isn't as ...emm... swift

I'm new though so maybe there are features I'm still to realsie

SwiftKey is a lot better at 'just getting it right'

But.... Samsung keyboard has the Ai. Annoying.

I've tried out other ³rd party keyboards and always come back to the Samsung Keyboard. 

In my own personal experience I've found this Keyboard to do what I need it to do. Remembering my used words and Predictive Text seems to work fine for me. 

Each to their own.

I use GBoard too, I forced myself to use Samsung Keyboard this year to test the AI feature but I just couldn't carry on. I even found the vibration feedback to be not as good as before (S23U/S22U) for some reason.
