I revive this dead thread because I really need this feature!
The app's icon is up there really uncomfortable to reach on the big phones, the search button (that should be switch with an enter button, search is useless the results are already there) is where my fingers already are. There's a huge difference!
@luckyflyn , I really feel your pain! I've always been on Android and only with Samsung from the S6, I got used to that feature while using 3rd party launchers for a while, and I miss it so much since a switched back to OneUI Home.
You can try another launcher that has that feature (in case you don't know what a launcher is, it's like the interface of the homescreen of your phone, in really really really simple words), like nova launcher, action launcher and whatever you find with launcher in the play store 😁
And @AndrewL , you kinda missed the question, sure you understand what they meant after my reply, please, forward the suggestion to the right department, it would really help the one handed usability!
