Tab a9 gemini

Hey guys 

my tab a9 got one ui 7 a couple weeks ago but didnt get gemini integration

i cant access it through the side button and it doesnt connect to my samsung apps

You will find that the A9 being the lower end of the tablet range, that it perhaps does not get some of the features that might be available in the S series devices.

I have an S9 FE amd I just checked.. it does have Gemini installed and does start with the side button. However even my mid range Fan edition doesnt get the Samsung AI features... the processor is simply not powerful enough for 'on device' integration.

If you look down your app list does Gemini show as installed? Even if it is not mapped to the side button ?

@Galacticdude: If you head to the Apps screen > Tap on the Search bar > Manually search for 'Gemini', does anything appear in the results? Similarly, if you head to Settings > Advanced features > Side button > Long press, is 'Digital assistant - Google' available for selection?

There is no side button long press
It still has the swipe from edges though
My main problem is it cant connect to my notes
