I havent updated my phone since Jan of this year and i seriously regret it. The hoops i had to jump threw to even set a ***** ALARM THREW GOOGLE ASSIST. It was switched to Gemini and now i cant swipe up to activate. The notifications tab needs 2 different swipes. Y for the sake of being ***** EXTRA thats y. I can go on and on about it but if im gonna be forced to use an IPHONE and other features i didnt sign up or pay for then Y stay with Samsung (im a very mentally ill person and this sent me over the edge) felt like learning how to use a computer in the 1980 except I ALREADY ***** KNEW HOW TO USE IT AND THE COMPUTER COMPANY SWITCHED THE LETTERS ON THE KEYBOARD AND SAID FIGURE IT OUT ******. thats basically whats happened here.. No one cares about the consumer anymore im willing to bet well have to suck it the ***** and live with it. it'll be one of those things they think if they dont address it over time well get used to it but no ill straight up kill myself or switch to Huawei OR JUST ANYONE WHO DOESNT WANNA BE THE NEXT APPLE. Like its always been known android users are generally smart bc of the things it can do. THIS WAS A MAJOR STEP BACKWARDS TO APEAL TO APPLE USERS.

@NELT: Please note that I have edited the title of your post, as while I understand that this is causing you some distress, the subject matter can be upsetting for other Community Members.
I absolutely understand that sudden changes can lead to anxiety and frustration, and I want to help you with any issues you might be facing, so you can get comfortable with the new UI.
Starting with the notification/Quick Panel, please be aware that you can revert to the previous interface by swiping from the top right corner of the Home screen to the bottom > Tap the pencil symbol in the top left > Panel settings (top right) > Select 'Together'. Now, you can swipe down once for notifications, and twice to expand the Quick Panel, as per previous Android versions.
Gemini works in the same way as Google Assistant, so you can press and hold the Side button, give Gemini a clear command e.g. set an alarm, and you should be good to go. Gemini is conversational, and I think you'll find it to be quite intuitive once you're comfortable with the new approach.
If you had any further questions or queries about the changes brought about by One UI 7 then myself or the wider Community will do our best to answer them for you.
