Software update - no effect

Hi, I know there are a few entries already about the Update and the vivid slider etc but I've updated and although it all looks as it should the vivid slider shows zero effect to the screen. I've tried clearing cache and even system cache but still zero. I just wondered if anyone else has the same issue. Note: the vivid slider is visible so all other switched are as needed to make it work. Cheers

Samsung has three images in that Settings / Display / Screen mode, and there is a slight difference between the Vivid and Natural modes.

I'm not going to lose sleep over this.  I'm sure things will get worked out.

Click on vivid, then go to advanced settings below and crank the slider to the right, then go back and compare vivid to natural and you'll see there's quite a difference

Well, my S24+ looks no different, but worse, the battery seems to be draining quicker compared to before the update

How weird, I just did the update and when it's set to maximum vividness there's a pretty big difference, like to the point I turned it back down to the middle as it was too much 😅

I just can't fathom it. I pride myself in being a techy, worked in computing for near 30 yrs, but just can't work this one out. I'm thinking that something else is having an effect like Good Lock Apps, so I'll plod on. But thanks all the same

Literally no difference on screen shots but very different in person, I guess screen shots are taken without the processing added
