Does anyone know how to move the search function back to the top? Why is Samsung taking it upon themselves to change the design elements? I read it was to use the phone with one hand.. I have carpal tunnel and these changes are making it difficult to navigate my phone. People should be given an option. Any help is appreciated.

If you mean the search box from the app drawer, I don't think you can

But you could download GoodLock as there may be a customisation option from there

To answer your question, Samsung made the design elements, it stands to reason they'd change it as they feel. Personally I think it's better now as it makes sense being closer to where I'd use the keyboard if I actually decide to use the search, but I get that you might dislike change, so perhaps they could've given us an option to move position.

Yes, it's stupid not to be able to position the search bar to the top of the app screen. You have to swipe up to see the app screen, then bring your finger back down again to use search instead of leaving it at the top. Hopefully they add this customisation option in soon.
