I inadvertently bought an international version of Samsung s24 ultra, model No SM-S928B.
Many OS items are missing.

Such as:

  1. NFC and payment option (In the Setting/Connection pull down
  2. Swipe functions.
  3. Gallery, Photo cannot be swiped up to edit the photo
  4. etc. I dont know other missing bits, as I have just moved to Samsung/Android from Apple.

How can I reinstall all version of the android/Samsung OS to the phone. if at all possible?
I am in Hong Kong. I also move around various region in Asia, hence the additional phone.

Thank you for your help

Where did you get the phone from? Also what is the CSC on the OS?

This so the European Community site and you are better suited asking on the HK Asia Community site as they would have better regional knowledge than we do here

Thanks @-Robot- , I picked up the phone in HK. The CSC is G9700FXXU1APFO.
Hard to post in the forum here, as it seems to be mostly in Chinese......

No problem, was it from electrical store or mobile store like csl, or general mobile store, what I am trying to acertain is if the stock is likely to be grey market or tampered with? If from legit stock you should be able to take it to Samsung store in HK

Warranty is only valid in country where it was purchased normally

Could you provide more details with the issues?

Regretfully! A soft scam!

I met up with the seller.

Phone in unopened box, + local receipt, that matched the box IMEI.

Opened the box and the phone was fully new , turning this on, it operated. So I paid for this.
Much later, realised that the new phone was not the same as the box+ receipt detail (IMEI).

I dont think I am concerned with the warranty. etc.
I just want the phone to have the OS and the software that was promised.

I dont think such problem exists with Apple products? At least have not faced this since 2008. Well... Android is the way to go, and I hope there is better path for me to tread in the future?

Ouch, I would recommend that you get from a legit store in the future.
We dont even know if you actually have the real phone you purchased, is it a real S24?
