Samsung notes

I spent about an hour writing something on a Samsung note, I fell asleep briefly and must have have leaned onto the screen and pressed the 'back key' accidently deleting the entire write up... now I can't retrieve the deleted text, I've looked everywhere and can't locate an undo option ! HELP 

Ps: This is about the third time this has happened and it's extremely frustrating!

Sometimes the clipboard one the keyboard can save text.
But unfortunately if its not saved, it will dissappear
I've looked and there's no option to automatically save notes.
Maybe go into the support section on the Members App and leave feedback there for development teams to see

That's strange cos mine automatically saves notes unless you manually delete the note, however I have auto save notes on in the settings, but even with that option on, if you press delete, it will delete the content, however pressing the back key will result in the option to cancel, save or discard. Btw, you can block the back button in settings

Just cleared the app cashe and data
Low and behold it's there

I have ON as well the Auto Save option. Is a bit strange you don't have that option. I am presume you already checked Note app updates

Hi @Trixielilypatch 

If you open the note you should have a tool bar at the bottom. Swipe the tool bar from right to left to see the all the tools.

Open Samsung Notes

• Tap the burger menu (three parallel lines)
• Tap Notes settings (Gear icon)
• Scroll down to Auto save notes

My version is 4.4.26.74
