I can't pinpoint when this started, but it's fairly recent (maybe last month or two) but I have to wipe my cache partition every single day to get audible notifications.  I've reset everything to the point of a factory reset and I'm still having the same issue.  It works for a while and then at some point, they all turn off.  I get vibration, but no audible sound.  Phone calls don't ring either.  It's getting pretty frustrating and I've missed calls that I shouldn't have.

I think it's a case of going into the individual apps and setting sounds and vibration then going into sound settings and ensuring everything isn't on silent as I think that will override everything so in the 1st screenshot, if i was playing music, I would hear it at that volume but everything else I have set notifications for would vibrate. The 2nd screen shot, I have changed it so everything is silent rather than vibrate (media still has volume as per 1st example), third example where sounds is enabled means I will hear any sounds I enable via the volume rocker as per screenshot 4.

P.s hope that makes sense😂1744418369760.jpg1744418459115.jpg1744418894641.jpg1744419048925.jpg

Hi and Welcome.

Any chance you have set up some ROUTINES or do not disturb etc which might be moving in?

I'm presuming you have already tried resetting all your settings under reset.

I also have the same problem, at some point during the day notifications stop making a sound and have to restart the phone to make them audible again. No idea what's starting it.

Hi @Timberlily78

Check that the app has not lost permissions due to inactivity.

Settings -> Apps -> Audible (or name of app) -> Notifications (Toggle on)

Settings -> Apps -> Audible (or name of app) -> Permissions (check the list of active permissions)

You could also check if the app has been put to sleep or deep sleep.

Settings -> Device care -> Battery -> Background usage limits

Check list of Sleep apps and Deep sleep apps

If it is on any, please remove it and re-add the permissions.

You could also add it to the list of Never auto sleep apps to avoid put them back in any of the sleep modes.

So it's not a single app, but all apps including the phone app.  I will check the deep sleep items, but it's doing this after a complete factory reset.
