Hello all!
I'm new here, so please forgive any formatting issues. I'm having trouble with my notification sounds, but not the same issue that everyone else seems to be having. I'm currently using the S24 Ultra. When I set my volume to only hear an audible ringtone, I'm still getting all notification sounds and I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn the notifications off!
Here is a screen grab of what my current volume settings are:
The menu in the top right corner only has one option: "Media volume limit". This is the entirety of the page - there is no option to scroll or open anything else - just volume adjustment. With these exact settings, I get every, single notification sound. I've messed with notification settings within each app with zero success. The only way to turn off all audible notifications is to mute the ringtone or put on DND, neither of which is an option...I was recently promoted to an upper management position and am now required to be available to my staff by phone or text during business hours. I also need to work during business hours, and having notifications go off dozens of times an hour is not remotely tenable.
Both my husband and I are completely stumped, and I haven't been able to find answers anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance!!

This does sound like a strange issue.
Which apps are you still receiving notifications sounds from?
If you are able to mute notifications sounds but you need to still receive phone calls and message notifications sounds. This could be a workaround.
Tap and hold down on the Do not disturb toggle.
The Do not disturb window should appear. Tap on details.
Next, Tap on calls and messages
Then select the best option which meets your requirements.
If you require notification sounds for calls messages you will need to adjust the volumes for phone calls and messages accordingly.
With the above configured and DND turned on. You still get notifications from phone and messages, but no notification sounds from other apps.

I've not tried this myself but there is the option "Reset all settings", as far as Iar I can see, this doesn't factory reset the phone or delete any personal data. It resets all apps and phone to the default settings.
