Samsung auto editing my pictures

After I've taken a picture and go to straight to the Gallery, samsung is editing my picture. There are some spinning dotes over the picture and the picture has changed. 

How do I stop this, it's very frustrating?

Edit: After trying different solutions. I started be clearing the cache of my camera and Gallery app. I reset my Camera settings Set the intelligent optimisation set to minimum. 

After this, it's found that the automatic optimisation didn't occur when using the 12M setting.

This only continues to happen when using the 20M and 50M setting, but only sometimes, not everytime. 

Please can someone confirm this for me and see if im missing something else?

Hi. Yes it does. Quite annoyingly to some.

You could minimise or turn off the following.

But it's not a 100% guarantee and you loose some functions.

You could use pro mode ( which defeats the purpose I guess)

Apparently it also does it for expert raw. 🙄

I actually keep mine ON as I do like the pictures coming out of the phone and don't feel the need for editing in most scenarios.

Have you tried going into settings > Galaxy AI > photo assist. Turn off generative edit. But make sure you can still edit photos using the new AI features. It was meant to stop auto. Don't want it stopping the features altogether for you. Worth trying.

Unfortunately this didn't stop the post editing of the picture as soon as I go to the Gallery. Thanks for your help though
