S24+ will not connect to Windows 11

Hello,

I have tried three different cables (both Usb-c to Usb-c and otherwise) into two different ports on my HP Windows 10 laptop and the computer fails to recognise my S24+.

I have already gone into Developer mode to no avail.

When I attempt to switch to the connected device in USB settings I'm told that I can't switch.

I have literally been connecting phones to laptops for over two decades and I find this increasingly annoying.

Can someone please help me?

Hey @RichardB4

Have you tried using Samsung Flow? If not, please check out the following link for more information on this feature: https://www.samsung.com/uk/apps/samsung-flow/

Hello, @RichardB4 plug your s24+ into your HP laptop and Gotō Device Manager on windows. Once you're on that page, look under those categories, portable devices, universal serial bus devices and other devices look for your mobile phone under them.
It should look like this:
If you see "unknown device" with a yellow exclamation, this could just be a driver issue and you may need to update the drivers. I have encountered this issue a few times.

See if maximum protection is enabled by mistake also. It should be underneath it.
