S24 ultra

Is the S24 stylus meant to protrude ? It prevents the phone standing up stabily. Just asking to make sure my phone was OK, and meant to be like this.

No it's meant to be flush with the bottom.

I am in the process of sending my S24 Ultra to be exchanged. The pen on my one when inside isn't flush... It protrudes a little but my main concern is the heat of the device. From day one and opening it without linking it to the WiFi or data connection for updates... The phone heats up quite quick... Back middle. While charging it gets very hot too.

Getting it switched seems to be jumping through hoops at the moment.

It was designed to be slightly prone. S23 was flush which was a pain to get out with case on.

This is the same on mine and every video I have seen. It's a design flaw for me, albeit a small one.

Yes they all don't go completely flush. One of my first observations and I understand it's to get access to the S Pen easier.
But I'd prefer it a bit more flush

Thanks, everyone for your views. I think I'll hold off returning it to Samsung for now. Especially as I have a Samsung case that enables it to stand upright. Thanks again everyone.

Personally don't like it as I feel I will loose it one day as it is always a quarter out and I have to keep clicking it back in.
Also it's not flush.

I come from an s21 ultra for reference and had the optional spen in the case which I prefer.
